Satisfactory arrangements for all financial obligations to the College and its offices must be made with the Treasurer’s Office before a transcript may be released. All checks should be made payable to Scripps College. Fall tuition is due on August 1, and spring tuition is due on January 1. The first payment, which includes the cost of summer courses, is due on May 1. Any charges for damage to College property or unpaid student account balances will be withheld from the commitment fee refund. The commitment fee is used to cover any charges or fees not paid at the time of completion or withdrawal from the College. For the continuing student, the commitment fee reserves a place at the College each semester. Should the new student withdraw before first registration, the commitment fee is nonrefundable. Summer Chemistry 14L (Semester I)Īll new students must submit their commitment fee to Scripps College. It does not include dues and assessments for student organizations, transcript fees, MCAT courses, or educational and miscellaneous supplies. This total cost covers tuition as well as the use of the swimming pool, libraries, and attendance at certain College-sponsored lectures and concerts.
