EA themselves said at e3 "we dont usually show games this early in development, but this is too awesome not to show" (basically they had nothing else to show because 2014 is a terrible year for games). look at DICE with mirrors edge 2, thats a big team and it isnt out until 2016, and that game actually has a name. With plenty of items to unlock the incentive to replay levels goes beyond beating a high score. The gameplay is fun, intuitive and simple enough for newcomers to enjoy while having complex layers that will have skate veterans everywhere grinding to master.

Then it will take them another 2-3 years to make a decent open world skate game if that did happen, which is unlikely, and if they did, it would without a doubt be console only. their current game wont be out until 2016 for sure as it is VERY early from looking at their e3 video: strange as they are 99% racing, and if they do, it will be a lot longer than 2 years. if they release it on pc, comment on this thread and i will give you $100.Ĭriterion making a skate game seems. why would they? its a system seller for the xbox one! thats why halo has been an exclusive since halo 3. i agree with that post too, however the masterchief collection wont come to pc either. or y'know, just get a cheap old 360 and play skate on them.

also, tony hawk pro skater hd is on steam, terrible port but its better than nothing. If you want a skating game so bad, you should be happy that this game has been ported and not judge it from a screenshot. its like asking for halo 3 to be ported, if it was going to happen, it would of happened by now.ĭo you really think EA are gonna come out and say "hey, you know that game that our studio made before we shut them down from 5 years ago? its coming to pc!". however, if a new skate game does come out, it still wont be released for pc, keyboard and mouse just wouldnt work. it just isnt going to happen, i doubt a new skate will even be released as the devs for 1-3 got shut down last year.
